It's been awhile

Yesterday morning I didnt meet my running group, my feet hurt too much from SAT’s long run of 10.5 miles. So I took the morning off, but I finally made it into the gym!

I have really spent my time and energy on running and cycling with the tri team, so weight lifting really hasn’t been an area of focus. However, last week I decided I don’t like not lifting. I love the amount of cardio I’m getting but all that running and cycling does nothing for my figure. Well ok, it helps me maintain my weight but I want to get to weight loss and transform from flabby to tight.

I went to the gym even though I was exhausted after work, I didn’t do anything special or intense. I did bench press, incline bench, cable pull downs, pull ups, and squats. I also did my routine of core workouts that I signed up from on active.com

Today I can say I am sore, I also didn’t lift a whole lot of weight either, I could definately tell its been awhile, but I’m excited that I’m sore in a good way.
