So the West Point Triathlon team won this past weekend in DC. We took the commander’s cup for both the women’s and men’s team. We did very well against Navy and Air Force! The team is outstanding and strong this year! I am so proud to be able to mentor these awesome athletes! Go Army Tri!

Both the Men’s and Women’s Triathlon Team dominated the other Service Academies and won the annual Commander-in-Chiefs Cup in Washington DC this weekend. On the men’s side, Romedy Murr ‘12 was spectacular, finishing 8th overall in a field of 5200 professional and elite athletes. Brendon Fox ‘11 was only 15 seconds be…hind finishing 9th overall and two minutes before the first other Academy finisher. Dan Livosi ‘12 and Nate Martins ‘11 rounded out the score sheet for Army. On the women’s side, Jessica Clay ‘14 dominated and finished five minutes ahead of any other Academy athlete. Lauren Cooper ‘11, Kelly Kingma ‘14, and Sarah Haight ‘13 gave the finishes that defeated all other Academies. Here are some photos from the rainy event. Go Army!
